Caroline Tong, RMT
“The interconnection and interdependence of the mind and body are such that we cannot heal one without the other.
I believe that rehab encompasses more than just restoring your body from an injury. For me, it means meeting them where they’re at. I show up with compassion and consideration for the challenging aspects of life. And sometimes it can mean we focus on supporting your nervous system in order to find balance in achieving your physical health goals.
My practice is built upon empowering you with the tools and knowledge to educate, heal, and optimize your health.”
Registered Massage Therapist
Caroline completed her 3000-hour massage therapy program at VCMT in 2019. While working in the finance industry, she discovered her passion for human movement through resistance training and yoga. As her enthusiasm of the profound connection between the human mind and body deepened, this sparked her interest to embark a career as a RMT.
Her treatment approach is fluid and consists a diverse range of therapeutic active techniques with a relaxing flow of traditional Swedish massage techniques. Through this combination of active and passive modalities, her methods facilitate the recalibration of the nervous system, while promoting circulation and release to areas of restriction. Caroline is experienced in treating musculoskeletal injuries, postural imbalances, repetitive strain injuries, chronic pain, sports-related injuries, and more.
Outside of the clinic, you can find her playing tennis, cycling, practicing yoga, or on her next outdoor adventure!
Caroline is fluent in English and speaks conversational Cantonese.
